Who is Sandra Ford Walston? "The motivational speaker who gives you the courage to step up to the next level."
Sandra Ford Walston is known as the Courage Expert TM. She is a leadership consultant, speaker, corporate trainer and Courage Coach, specializing in women leadership issues and results-oriented organizational behavior. Sandra is also the internationally published author of COURAGE The Heart and Spirit of Every Woman/Reclaiming the Forgotten Virtue. With an emphasis on understanding courage behaviors, individual personality and leadership styles, the author/trainer facilitates individuals and groups to discover their hidden talents. She provides skill-based programs for public and private businesses, including Caterpillar, Procter & Gamble, Farmers Insurance, Diner’s Club, Auburn University Women's Leadership Institute, Wide Open West and Hitachi Consulting. She instructs at the Colorado Society of CPAs, was a former instructor at the University of Denver, and she is an ad hoc faculty member for Advanced Management Institute and The Woodhull Institute.
Ms. Walston is qualified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and is certified as an Enneagram teacher, and she enjoys applying insights from both systems to her work. Her second book, COURAGE GOES TO WORK, is being prepared for publication next year. It provides male and female insights on the merit of courage at work, especially as it applies to women leadership issues. She writes for “Chief Learning Officer” and “Strategic Finance” magazines, to name a few.
